Concreate celebrates prestigious deal with new art gallery

Concreate, which is the first product of its kind available on the British flooring market, has secured a prestigious deal with the new Chapel Place Gallery in Tunbridge Wells, to fit the gallery with its innovative flooring product.

The cutting edge gallery based on 9 Chapel Place, which showcases work by modern and contemporary British and European artists and designers, including aluminum sculptures by Jonathan Clarke and paintings by Sir Terry Frost, Anthony Frost and Sandra Blow needed the most original and urban flooring product to complement its works of art.

Concreate’s Natural Grey floor panels have been installed throughout the basement gallery space and clad the impressive staircase which leads up the first floor and the reception area where Concreate Natural Grey Wall panels have been used to make a solid looking concrete desk and a stunning feature wall which stands behind it.

Concreate, was inspired by the groundbreaking environmentally friendly concrete surfaces used in the Beijing Olympic Village, and is manufactured with the same magnesium oxide cement to produce a lightweight decorative engineered concrete panel. Sustainable, cost-effective and aesthetically pleasing, Concreate is a versatile alternative to conventional poured and polished concrete surfaces. The ready-made floor and wall panels can be installed quickly in just about any interior space to create instant architectural features.

Chris Vincent, Managing Director of Concreate and V4 Woodflooring, said: “We are extremely proud of Concreate, which is proving to be a very popular flooring product as it offers home and business owners a more environmentally-friendly and attractive alternative to conventional concrete systems.”

“The gallery in Tunbridge Wells looks fantastic and will showcase Concreate perfectly.”

Gill Ib, from The Chapel Place Gallery, said: “Concreate is a work of art in itself. I chose the new flooring product due to its clean, urban, natural look and it complements the pieces of artwork in the gallery beautifully.

Nic Ib added: “The team from Concreate were excellent to work with and I have been extremely impressed with the product, which I have had lots of compliments about.”
