Review: A Very Special Bath Oil

Review: A Very Special Bath Oil

This week, we're reviewing Overum Bath Oil, which is an indulgent blend of essential oils that has been added to the most luxurious of baths since 1931.

Olverum is a unique and highly concentrated, therapeutic bath oil which contains 10 pure essential oils, carefully blended to work synergistically. Olverum bath is a very effective way to naturally relieve  stress and help you achieve a great nights' sleep. It is also a great way to ease aching or sore muscles (such a treat after a workout!) and is the perfect soothing antidote to a cold or flu. All with a gorgeously aromatic, unisex scent.

All you need is a few drops in your bath, and you can sink beneath the water to enjoy a most relaxing and soothing soak. The smell itself is aromatic and intensely soothing and works wonders for tired and stressed senses. Aside from the slightly premium price, the only other downside is that Olverum does not make bubbles - but we can occasionally live with that first world problem!

For many years, Olverum survived by word of mouth, but now beautifully re-packaged, yet still retaining the same formulation loved for over eight decades, Olverum recently relaunched under new British ownership.

Olverum comes in 3 sizes. The 125ml size is £26.00 and is enough for 25 baths, the 250ml size is £48 and is enough for 50 baths. The travel set is £16 and enough for 9 baths. Main stockists are Liberty, Conran, Harvey Nichols and Fenwick.
