The JBL Charge 2 is an excellent Bluetooth speaker that packs in a dynamic and robust listening experience. It picks up bass tones clearly and precisely making the most of just about any piece of music that Spotify or other streaming services can throw at it.
Charge 2 connects seamlessly to any Bluetooth enabled device and song choice is easily controlled via your smartphone, PC/Mac or iPod / iPad. The Charge 2 also boasts a pause and play function and volume control – features that are often missing on portable Bluetooth speakers, and are a handy addition in the Charge 2. The gadget offers some robust bass notes, courtesy of two speakers, which can be seen to vibrate when music is played, at either end of its cylindrical frame.
The Charge 2 boasts an impressive 12 hours battery life, which allows for a high level of portability as it can be taken out and about easily. Another great feature of the Charge 2 is its ability to allow for up to three people to take turns streaming music from their mobile phone, tablet or laptop.
Charge 2 also features a nifty conference call feature, which allows a call to be streamed via the speaker. It provides crystal-clear phone conversations through the hands-free conference speakerphone.
The Charge 2 is available in black, blue, purple, red, or white and measures roughly 3 by 7.3 inches and weighs 1.3 pounds. The rubberized exterior has a control panel across the top and a platform that keeps it sitting firmly in place.
